Product details
This is the S.R. Smith concrete base jig, part number 69-209-006-SS. It is 12 inch by 12 inch and comes with 6 inch stainless steel bolts.
What it is for
A jig is the template that fixes the anchor bolts in the concrete base while it is poured and cured. It holds the pattern square and the bolts at the right depth, so the stand drops on and bolts down without fighting the hardware. Anchors set even slightly out of position in cured concrete cannot be moved without breaking the base up.
