The S.R. Smith 69-209-032-SS is the stainless steel board mounting kit for a Frontier II spring board fitted to a steel base diving board stand. It is the 3 bolt version of the kit.
What it does
The mounting kit is the connection between the board and the stand, and it carries the entire load of every dive. There is nothing casual about the hardware in that position, which is why it is stainless and why it is sold as a matched kit rather than as loose fasteners.
Check the bolt count
S.R. Smith builds board mounting kits in more than one bolt configuration. This is the three bolt kit. Look at the hole pattern in your board and the fulcrum on the stand before ordering, because the wrong count will not line up.
When to replace it
Corroded, stretched or missing bolts mean the board is no longer properly secured. A diving board is one of the few things around a pool where hardware in poor condition is a real hazard rather than an inconvenience, so take it out of service until the mounting is right.
