Product details
This is the S.R. Smith epoxy kit with three 1/2 in. mounting bolts, used to anchor a Flyte Deck II diving board stand to the pool deck.
What the kit does
The stand is only as solid as what holds it into the concrete. The kit supplies the anchoring epoxy along with the three 1/2 in. bolts the mounting pattern uses, so the hardware and the bond come from the same source rather than being pieced together at the hardware store.
Why the anchor matters
Every bounce on the board goes through the stand and into those bolts, over and over, for years. That is the reason a diving stand is set in epoxy rather than hung on expansion anchors. The epoxy bonds along the whole length of the bolt in the drilled hole and does not rely on friction that can relax.
Note on the part number
The kit appears under both 75-209-5876 and 75-209-5876-SS in the source data. Both refer to this epoxy kit with three bolts.
