This is the stainless steel spring bolt kit for S.R. Smith Cantilever 606 and 608 stands and Supreme 656 and 658 stands, part number 69-209-029-SS.

What is in the box

The kit covers the whole spring bolt position rather than a single fastener. It holds a 5/8 inch by 2-1/4 inch stainless hex head bolt with its stainless hex nut, lock washer and flat washer, a 1/2-13 by 3-1/2 inch carriage bolt with a 1/2 inch flat washer, three nylon washers in protector, square and round forms, a white rubber nut cap and a composite spring pad measuring 2-1/4 inches square by 1/8 inch thick.

Why replace the whole set

Hardware at a diving stand lives in splash and sun, and the pieces wear at different rates. The nylon washers and the composite pad take the load and go first, but a corroded nut or a stretched bolt undoes the benefit of new pads. Changing the set puts the position back to factory condition in one visit.
