Product details

The Pleatco PCC60 is a 60 square foot replacement filter cartridge for the Pentair Clean and Clear Plus 240 and the American Quantum filter. It measures 7 inches across the outside diameter and 14-1/8 inches long.

A set of four

This filter is designed around four cartridges working together, which is how it reaches its rated area. Changing one worn cartridge in a set of four rarely helps for long, because the other three are the same age and will follow it. Check the quantity on your order so that you end up with the full set you need.

Cleaning and replacing

Cartridges are meant to be cleaned several times before they are replaced. Rinse the pleats out thoroughly and soak them if the water is oily or scaled. Once tank pressure will not come back down after a proper cleaning, or the pleats are flattened, torn or permanently gray, the media is spent and new cartridges are the fix.
