Product details

This is the Coolaroo bungee tie down in brown, the cord that anchors the bottom of a Coolaroo exterior sun shade. It loops through the rings at the end of the bottom rail and the far end secures into a bungee receiver mounted on the wall, post or deck.

Receivers are separate

The bungee receivers that this tie down clips into are sold on their own. If you are fitting a shade from scratch rather than replacing a cord, order the receivers at the same time.

Why the bottom rail gets tied

An exterior shade that hangs loose at the bottom moves with every gust and wears at the rail. Tying the rail down holds the panel flat, which is how the shade is meant to sit.
