Product details

This is the Coolaroo cordless crank unit in cream, part number Z 13-CURS, supplied pre configured for a right side installation. It is the crank mechanism that drives a Coolaroo exterior sun shade up and down without a hanging cord.

What you also need

The crank is turned by a wand, and the wand is a separate purchase. If the shade you are working on is currently corded, the changeover also calls for a cordless crank kit, which is likewise sold separately. Buying the crank unit on its own suits a shade that is already set up for cordless operation and simply needs the unit replaced.

It is pre configured for right side installations, so it is not the part for a shade that cranks on the left.
Does a wand come with it?
No. Cordless operation needs a wand to turn the crank, and the wand is sold separately.
I have a corded shade. Is this everything I need to go cordless?
No. Converting a corded Coolaroo exterior sun shade over to cordless operation also takes a cordless crank kit, which is sold separately.
