EasyCare Pooltec Winter Algaecide, Clarifier and Chlorine Booster, 64 oz, 36664

The EasyCare Pooltec Winter Algaecide, Clarifier and Chlorine Booster, 36664, is a 64 oz bottle of winter pool treatment that protects the water from fall to spring using little or no chlorine.

What it does

Pooltec water treatment is a multi-task product. It kills and prevents all types of algae growth, clarifies the water and boosts chlorine, and it is described for both chlorine pools and salt pools. Its polymers are cationic, polymeric compounds that act as a broad spectrum, non-oxidizing algaecide and microbicide, disturbing the normal metabolic process of the living cell.

Why use it over the winter

The winter formula is aimed at the non-swim season. EasyCare lists longer lasting protection from fall to spring, little or no chlorine with no testing and no worry, and no spring cleanup hassles and expense. The stated dose is one or two bottles for a 20,000 gallon pool.
