ProTeam Polyquat 60 is a highly concentrated algaecide supplied in a one quart bottle. It works as an algae preventative and as a remover, and it is effective against all types of algae in any type of pool.

What sets it apart

It contains no metals, so there is no copper to stain plaster or tint blonde hair. It is pH neutral, so it does not drag the water out of balance. And it is non-foaming, which is the reason it is a good fit for a pool with an attached spa or with water features that keep the surface moving.

Dosing

Initial treatment is 6 to 11 oz per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Maintenance is 2 to 4 oz per 10,000 gallons weekly. Performance is best with pH between 7.2 and 7.6.

Working alongside chlorine

Polyquat 60 is not affected by high chlorine residuals, so it keeps working after a shock treatment. Used consistently it reduces sanitizer consumption, meaning the pool needs less chlorine to hold its residual.
