EasyCare PoolTec is a three in one pool water treatment in a 64 oz bottle: an algaecide, a water clarifier and a chlorine booster, sold under part number 30064.

Algae control

Used on a schedule it gives continuous prevention against green, yellow and black algae, and where algae has already taken hold it kills most of it within 4 to 24 hours. Black algae in particular is stubborn enough that a preventative program is worth more than a rescue treatment.

Chlorine and salt cells

PoolTec boosts the effectiveness of the chlorine already in the water by up to six times, or 600 percent. On a salt pool it also improves the cell chlorine output and performance, which makes it a good match for heavy use pools where the cell is working hard through the season.

Clarity and phosphates

The clarifier package in the bottle pulls the fine particles that cause haze, taking the water to an ultra clear finish. It remains effective even where phosphate levels run above 5,000 ppb, a level at which many treatments lose their grip.
