Product details

The VacBagz 1301-22 is an extra fine debris bag for pool vacuuming, built from blue polyester mesh with an 80 micron rating. It has a 13 in. neck and measures 22 in. long, sized for the Bottom Feeder and the Leaf Master.

Why mesh rating matters

A vacuum bag is a filter you can see working. A coarse bag grabs leaves and gravel and lets everything smaller drift back into the pool, which is why the water can still look hazy after a thorough vacuum. At 80 micron this bag holds onto fine sand, silt, dust and small particulate, so the debris leaves the pool instead of resettling on the floor.

Flow and filtration

Finer is not automatically better if the bag chokes the vacuum. The polyester mesh here is chosen to keep suction and water flow usable while still catching fine material. Emptying and rinsing the bag before it packs solid is what keeps that balance in your favor.

Because fine debris is captured at the vacuum head, less of it reaches the pool filter. That means longer runs between cleans and less time spent on the filter itself.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What does 80 micron actually catch?
It is the extra fine grade in this range, sized for fine sand, silt, dust and small particulate. Coarser bags let that material pass straight back into the pool.
Which vacuum heads does it fit?
It is listed for the Bottom Feeder and the Leaf Master, with a 13 in. neck and a 22 in. bag length.
Will a fine bag slow my vacuum down?
The blue polyester mesh is chosen to balance filtration with suction and flow. Any bag will lose suction once it fills, so empty and rinse it before the mesh blinds over.
Can I reuse it?
Yes, it is a reusable bag. Rinse it clean after each use and let it dry rather than storing it packed with wet debris.
