The Wilbar 1490830 is the outer ledge cover for an above ground pool. It caps the rough outside edge where the top ledge meets the wall.

Safety first, appearance second

Above ground pool ledges leave an exposed edge at the joint. The cover puts a smooth face over it so swimmers climbing in and out, and anyone walking past, do not meet bare metal. It also hides the fastening and gives the top rail a finished line all the way around.

Is this the inner or the outer cover?
Outer. The inner ledge cover is a separate part, so check which side of the top ledge you are replacing.
What does a ledge cover do?
It caps off the rough edge left where the top ledge meets the pool wall. That keeps a sharp edge out of reach and finishes the look of the installation.
Does one cover the whole pool?
No. Ledge covers are sold individually and the pool takes as many as it has ledge sections, so count yours before ordering.
Can I fit it to an existing pool?
Yes. Ledge covers are commonly replaced on standing pools when one has cracked, faded or gone missing.
