Product details
The Technical Products 1 1/2"SPBT is a 1-1/2 inch nylon winter plug with a blow through valve, made to seal a pool fitting for the winter season.
What it does
The plug threads into a 1-1/2 inch fitting and closes it off for winter. Its stem holds a brass air valve with a spring loaded core, so air can be blown through the plug to push water out of the line before the fitting is sealed for the season, then the valve reseals to keep the fitting closed through the winter.
Construction
It is a straight plug, not an eared style, made of black nylon and fastened with a nut for a secure hold against the fitting.
Before you order
Make sure the fitting you are closing off is 1-1/2 inch before ordering, since this plug is sized for that opening only and will not seal a different size fitting.
