Product details

The S.R. Smith IAA-100 is a 4 in. deep bronze anchor assembly for deck mounted fixtures made from 1.90 in. OD tubing. It belongs to S.R. Smith's institutional line, and S.R. Smith recommends it for commercial handrails and lifeguard stands.

How it holds the fixture

The anchor is set into the pool deck and the leg of the rail or stand fits into the socket. A bronze wedge, with the bolt and washer supplied, locks the tube in the socket. The wedge, bolt and washer all come with the assembly.

Before you install

Confirm the fixture tubing is 1.90 in. OD before ordering. Metal fittings in a pool deck are normally bonded under local electrical code, so plan the bonding connection along with the anchor, and follow the fixture maker's installation instructions.

When the fixture comes out

If a rail or stand is removed for the off season or for an event, the S.R. Smith CP-100-R cover plate, made of 304 stainless steel for this anchor, closes off the open socket. It is sold separately.
