Product details

E-Z Patch 2 is a repair kit for pool deck surfaces, supplied here as a 3 lb jar in Sand Buff. It is built on acrylic modified materials rather than a plain cement mix, and one jar covers up to 4 square feet at a quarter inch depth.

Sized for the repair most people actually have

Decks rarely fail all at once. What shows up is a chip at a corner, a spalled patch where furniture sat, a small area lifted after a freeze. A 3 lb jar is enough material for that kind of work without buying a quantity sized for resurfacing the whole deck.

About the color

Sand Buff is matched to most pool decks, which is why it is the standard choice. Color on an aged deck is never a perfect match to anything, so put a small amount somewhere out of sight, let it cure, and look at it dry before committing to a repair in the middle of the deck. Note the two part numbers our records carry for this kit, EZP-011 and E-Z PATCH #2 3# SAND, both describing the same 3 lb Sand Buff jar.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

How much deck will one jar cover?
Up to 4 square feet at a quarter inch thick. It is sized for small repairs rather than resurfacing a whole deck.
Will Sand Buff match my deck?
Sand Buff is matched to most pool decks, which is why it is the common choice. Colors never match perfectly across an aged surface, so test a small hidden area first.
What part number is this?
Our records carry two: the manufacturer part number EZP-011, and the substitute part number E-Z PATCH #2 3# SAND. Both refer to this 3 lb Sand Buff kit.
Is this for the deck or the pool itself?
The deck. E-Z Patch 2 is a repair kit for pool deck surfaces, so it is not the product for patching the pool shell or the waterline.
