The S.R. Smith Gibraltar Wedge Retro Fit Kit, 8-415A, is a wedge kit for S.R. Smith deck anchor sockets, the fitting that holds a pool rail in the deck, and S.R. Smith lists part number 8-415A on its Double Anchor Socket Assembly page.

How the wedge works

S.R. Smith's anchor socket secures the rail with a wedge assembly. The Double Anchor Socket Assembly accepts a 1-5/8 inch (41.3 mm) diameter ring rail and includes a bronze wedge, nuts, washers, a 1/4-20 UNC grounding screw and escutcheons. A jig plate sets the rails 20 inches on center.
