Depth and the spacer
The anchor is 6 inches deep and ships with a 2 inch spacer, so the same part covers a 6 inch pocket or, with the spacer fitted, a 4 inch socket. That flexibility is the reason it is called universal, and it is worth knowing before you cut a new deck pocket.
What is in the box
