The S.R. Smith AS-100D is a 6 inch deep cast bronze anchor assembly that gives deck mounted equipment a permanent, solid mounting point. It is used for S.R. Smith Swim N Dunk and Swim N Spike water basketball and volleyball games, and for other applications as needed.
How it is built
The body is cast bronze, which is the reason these anchors outlast everything around them in a wet, chlorinated deck. The bottom of the socket is drilled so water drains away instead of standing in the hole, and the anchor is tapped for and supplied with a 1/4-20 UNC brass ground screw for bonding. The design does not use wedges.
When the game comes out
A cover plate is included. Drop it in and the anchor sits flush with the deck, which keeps the surface clean underfoot and stops debris filling the socket over the winter. The anchor is packaged for single unit sales, so order one for each mounting point.
