Product details

The Maytronics 9995872-DIY is the 60 foot (18 meter) DC cable with swivel for a wide run of Dolphin robotic cleaners and the Pentair Prowler 820 and 830. A cable is the part of a robot that sees the most abuse, dragged over coping and twisted every time the machine turns, and a replacement brings back full reach and a swivel that actually works.

Fit list

Dolphin Triton, Deluxe 5, Dynamic DX6, DX4, DLX4, DLX5, Apollo, Edge, Discovery and Premier, plus the Pentair Kreepy Krauly Prowler 820 and 830. It is the DC cable for the Dynamic (DYN) series.

Why the swivel matters

Without a working swivel the cable takes a turn every time the cleaner does, and after an hour it is a knot. The swivel on this cable lets it unwind as the robot moves, which is the difference between a cleaner that covers the pool and one that stalls in the shallow end.
