The Regency LX is the salt water friendly package in the Trendium above ground range, supplied here as a 30 ft round pool with a 54 in. wall. It is a hybrid build: the wall and frame are resin coated steel, and nearly everything that surrounds them is resin.
Why the resin matters
Bare steel on an above ground pool is where corrosion starts, and salt water makes that worse. The Regency LX moves the exposed structure to resin. The stabilizers, bottom plates, bottom rail, top rails and rail caps are resin, the top plates are resin coated steel, and the 5-Inch uprights are resin coated. The top coping is 7-Inch wide Synpro injected resin, which gives a wide, solid edge to sit on rather than a thin steel lip.
Fit and finish
The resin rail caps have rounded corners and hide the screws, so there are no exposed fasteners at the joints around the top of the wall.
What comes with it
The package includes a premium widemouth thru-wall skimmer and a return fitting assembly, so the circulation openings in the wall are covered before you add a pump and filter.
