Product details

The Saftron ANCH-1 is a plastic anchor socket for any standard 1.90 inch outside diameter rail, which covers Saftron rails as well as common metal handrails and ladders.

Why polymer instead of metal

The socket is molded from a high impact polymer formulated to shrug off weather, pool chemicals and corrosion. That matters most at winterizing: a steel rail will not seize into a polymer socket the way it can into a metal one, so rails pull out cleanly season after season.

Grounding and bonding

Paired with a Saftron rail or ladder, the whole connection is non metallic and there is nothing to bond or ground. Paired with a conductive rail such as stainless steel, the socket has a built in grounding terminal so the installation can still be made to code. Check local requirements for your installation either way.

What rail size does it take?
Any standard 1.90 inch outer diameter rail. That covers Saftron rails and typical metal handrails and ladders.
Does it have a grounding terminal?
