Product details

The Cover Valet SSHR is the CoverMate 7930 spa side handrail with base, a swiveling grab bar that gives a secure hand hold when entering and leaving a spa. Cover Valet describes its Spa Side Handrail as a sturdy handrail built for stability.

How it mounts

Cover Valet designs the handrail with an undermount base. The base slides under the spa cabinet and is held in place by the weight of the spa and the water, so no screws or drilling are needed. The rail swivels 360 degrees and locks in any position, so it can be set where it is most useful. The finish is carbon gray powder coat, and the end of the grab bar has a battery-powered LED light.

Spa size

The stated limit on the Cover Valet page is spa height: the handrail fits spas up to 40 in tall. Measure from the ground to the top of the spa shell before you order. The base needs room under the cabinet, so check the clearance at the side where you want the rail.
