The S.R. Smith 400-7000AX-BC is the LiftOperator Intelligent control box for the aXs2 pool lift in the CEC compliant BC version. The aXs2 parts list names the standard controller, 400-7000AX, and this is its BC counterpart.

Why the BC version

Since January 2, 2018, S.R. Smith lifts bound for California use the CEC compliant BC versions of the LiftOperator battery, charger and control box, and those BC parts do not interchange with the standard LiftOperator parts. Check the lift serial number before you order a battery, charger or control box.

What it does

In the aXs2 manual, the LiftOperator control box runs every movement of the lift with touchpad arrows that match the 4 button hand control. Three cables plug into the bottom: the hand control in the largest port, the motor cable with the red stripe in connector 1, and the actuator cable with the green stripe in connector 2. Battery level LEDs show green, amber or red, and the red emergency stop button halts all movement and sounds an alert until it is turned clockwise to reset.

Do I need the 400-7000AX-BC or the 400-7000AX?
Since January 2, 2018, S.R. How do I know the control box has failed?
Charge the battery and try a second fully charged battery. If the lift still will not raise, lower or rotate, the S.R. Smith troubleshooting steps say to replace the control box.
