Product details

The Treo is a 12VAC, 5 watt LED underwater light with a color changing array, supplied here with 4 trim rings and a 50 ft cord. It is a retrofit light: it goes into standard 1.5 in wall fittings and replaces most existing fiber optic installations.

Light quality

The Treo puts out an even distribution with a wide beam spread, which is what eliminates the end shadow effect other pool lights leave at the far end of the water. The color array locks on any of six colors and runs two color change modes, and it synchronizes with the Color Light Streams series of water features.

Built for the water

The lens uses a non leak water seal with no polycarbonate materials in the seal itself, and the flexible lens is made to cope with extreme temperature swings. Cable terminations are encapsulated, which removes the external cable and water seal heat that degrades other fixtures over time. Lamp life is rated at 50,000 hours.

Installation

No earth bonding is required, and the light is iStar compatible.

What colors are the trim rings?
The source gives two readings and we have carried both: a 4 face rim set of white, black, beige and gray, and a 3 face rim set of black, beige and gray. This listing is the 4 trim ring version, so confirm the ring colors with us before ordering if the finish matters.
Will it fit my existing fiber optic light?
The Treo is designed to retrofit most existing fiber installations and installs into standard 1.5 in wall fittings.
Does it need bonding?
