Product details

The S.R. Smith 10092 is a Standard Crossbrace Plus commercial pool ladder in the 29 in. size, with four steps and plastic treads. Crossbrace Plus ladders use thick stainless tubing and are meant for the heavy, constant traffic of commercial aquatic facilities.

Frame and treads

The frames are 1.90 in. OD polished type 304 stainless steel at .109 in. wall, with every bend formed on a nominal 4 in. radius. A cross brace is continuously TIG welded to the front and rear legs for added stability. The lower ends of the frames bend in to meet the pool wall and are fitted with white rubber bumpers. The four treads are white heavy duty plastic, nominally 5 in. by 20 in., and come with the stainless steel hardware to mount them.

Dimensions

S.R. Smith spec SRS-507 puts this ladder at 26 in. above the deck and 52 in. below it, 78 in. overall. The same 29 in. 4-step frame is also built at .065 in. wall as part 10091 and at .145 in. wall as part 10093.

Anchoring

With proper anchoring the ladder suits poured concrete, shotcrete, fiberglass and vinyl commercial pools and spas. S.R. Smith recommends IAS-100 bronze wedge anchors, which carry a brass grounding screw for bonding, or AS-100B anchors, finished with IEP-100 escutcheons or the EP-100A or EP-100F alternatives.

What is the difference between 10091, 10092 and 10093?
Wall thickness. All three are the 29 in. 4-step Crossbrace Plus ladder with plastic treads, built at .065 in., .109 in. and .145 in. wall. The 10092 is the .109 in. version.
Are anchors and escutcheons included?
S.R. Smith specifies them as separate parts. The recommended anchor is the IAS-100, a bronze wedge anchor with a brass grounding screw for bonding, with the AS-100B as an alternative. The recommended escutcheon is the IEP-100, with the EP-100A or EP-100F as alternatives.
