This is the S.R. Smith 32 inch, 3 step Dade County cross braced pool ladder, part number 50-792S-32-MG, built in .049 inch marine grade stainless steel.

Why a Dade County ladder

Dade County and Florida rollout ladders use tighter radius bends than a traditional pool ladder. The result is a ladder that sits closer to the pool wall, which keeps it out of the swimming area and makes the deck side of the install neater.

The cross braced, marine grade build

S.R. Smith offers these ladders in stainless steel with or without a crossbrace. This one has the brace, which ties the two rails together and stiffens the whole ladder underfoot. The MG suffix marks the marine grade stainless build, using the heavier .049 inch tubing wall.

Liner protection

Rubber bumpers are fitted at the ends where the ladder contacts the side of the pool. On a vinyl pool that is the point where a bare stainless rail would eventually mark the liner, so the bumpers do real work rather than being trim.

Before you order

Anchors and escutcheon plates are separate items. Check the anchor size already set in your deck so the new ladder drops straight into it.

What makes it a Dade County ladder?
The bends are a tighter radius than a traditional pool ladder, which brings the ladder in closer to the pool wall. The same style is often called a Florida rollout.
What does the MG in the part number mean?
