Product details

The Aqua Creek F-494DAA is the Linak 400mm actuator, pull configuration, used on the Admiral, Pathfinder, Ranger 2 and Spa Series pool lifts. It is the genuine Aqua Creek part.

What it does

The actuator is the motorized drive that moves the lift. Every raise and lower cycle goes through it, which makes it one of the few parts on a lift that genuinely wears out. When it stops, the lift stops, and on a commercial pool that means an accessibility problem the same day.

Getting the right one

Actuators come in push and pull versions and in different lengths. This listing is the 400mm pull actuator. Check your lift model against the list above, and check whether your unit uses the pull or the push variant, before ordering.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What does the actuator do?

It is the drive that moves the pool lift, raising and lowering the seat. When it fails the lift stops moving.

Which lifts does it fit?

Aqua Creek Admiral, Pathfinder, Ranger 2 and Spa Series.

Is this the push or the pull actuator?

Pull. Aqua Creek lists this one as the 400mm actuator pull, part F-494DAA.

When should I replace it?

An actuator that runs slowly, stalls partway through travel or makes new noise is on its way out. On a lift in daily public use it is worth replacing before it strands someone rather than after.
