How it fits into the charging system

The Motion Trek runs on a removable battery that charges off a cradle. This adapter is the piece that supplies the cradle. Without it the cradle has no power, so the battery slowly drains through use and the lift eventually stops responding at the poolside.

Before you replace the battery

When a lift stops holding a charge, the adapter is the cheaper thing to rule out first. It lives on a wet deck, gets stepped on, and its cord takes the strain every time the cradle is moved. A failed or intermittent adapter presents exactly like a dead battery. This listing covers the adapter only; the cradle and the battery are separate parts.

Which lifts does this adapter fit?
The Motion Trek BP 350, BP 400, BP 350 Deluxe and BP 400 Deluxe.
Does it charge the battery directly?
It works in conjunction with the charging cradle. The adapter supplies the cradle and the cradle charges the Motion Trek battery.
Does the charging cradle come with it?
No. This is the AC/DC adapter on its own.
My lift battery will not charge. Is the adapter the problem?
It is worth checking first. Adapters take more physical abuse than the cradle, and a dead or intermittent adapter looks exactly like a failed battery from the deck.
