Product details

The Spectrum Aquatics 153605 is the replacement charger cradle for the Motion Trek pool lift. It fits the BP 350, the BP 400 and the Deluxe versions of both.

How the charging works

The cradle is the docking point for the lift battery. It works in conjunction with the AC/DC adapter, which supplies the power. Between charges the battery sits in the cradle, which is why the cradle takes the wear.

When to replace it

A pool lift is only available if its battery is charged, so a cradle that has stopped making reliable contact takes the whole lift out of service. If a battery that should be good is not charging, the cradle is worth checking before you replace the battery.

Is the battery included?
No. This is the charging cradle only.
Why replace the cradle rather than the battery?
If a known good battery will not take a charge, the fault can be in the cradle contacts or its wiring rather than in the battery itself.
