Product details

This is the S.R. Smith Designer Series deck to deck return stair rail, part DR-D3D50065-MG, in marine grade stainless steel. It measures 32 in. high by 50 in. wide and is made from tubing with a 0.065 in. wall.

Why the Designer Series

The Designer Series rail replaces the traditional stair rail with a shape that reads as part of the pool rather than an afterthought. The 3 bend geometry runs up from the deck, over the steps and back down to the deck, which is what deck to deck return means.

Standard or marine grade

S.R. Smith offers this rail in standard 304 stainless steel and in marine grade stainless for salt pools. This listing is the marine grade version, which is the one to specify if the pool runs a salt chlorine generator.

What are the dimensions?

Yes. S.R. Smith builds the Designer Series deck to deck return stair rail in standard 304 stainless and in marine grade stainless for salt pools, and the MG in the part number is the marine grade one.
Do the anchors come with it?
No. Deck anchors and escutcheon plates are separate items, so order them to suit your deck when you order the rail.
How does it mount?
Both legs go into the deck. The rail bends up and back over the steps and returns to the deck rather than anchoring on the pool side.
