Why the drooped, braced shape

The DMS-102 is a braced rail built for pool stairs and sloped entries. The drooped profile follows the descent so there is something to hold at each step down, and the brace gives the rail the rigidity a stair entry asks of it.

Marine grade

The MG suffix is the marine grade specification, with a .049 inch wall. It is the heavier of the two wall thicknesses S.R. Smith offers on this rail, and it is the usual choice where the rail sees salt or heavy use.

Mounting
