Product details

The Saftron CBRTD-354-GG is a 54 by 32 inch graphite handrail in the 3-bend cross-braced return-to-deck shape, with a 0.25 inch wall. It is built for an entry that slopes into the water, with both ends returning to the deck.

How it is built

Inside the polymer is fully reinforced, encapsulated aluminum, which is where the strength comes from. The exterior is a high impact polymer compound made specifically to shrug off pool chemicals, salt and sunlight, and it stays cooler under the hand than a bare metal rail on a hot day.

Installation and upkeep

No grounding and no bonding are required, which removes an electrical step from the install. Once it is in, the rail asks for virtually no maintenance; the finish is made to stay smooth and bright rather than pit, chalk or need refinishing.

Sizing

Measure before ordering. This is the 54 inch by 32 inch rail with a 0.25 inch wall thickness, in graphite. Saftron builds the same shape in other sizes and colors, so match the part number rather than the shape alone.
