The Maytronics 9991457 is the spring filter basket assembly for the Dolphin robotic cleaner range, supplied complete with its frame and coarse filters.

What it fits

The same basket serves a wide slice of the Dolphin lineup: S200, S300 and S300i, Active 20, Active 30 and Active 30i, Quantum, Discovery, Premium, Triton PS and Triton PS Plus. The Pentair badged 920 and 930 robotic cleaners use it as well.

Why the basket matters

Everything the cleaner picks up passes through this basket. When the frame cracks, the mesh tears or the basket stops seating cleanly in the body, debris bypasses the filtration and drops back into the pool. Owners usually read that as a cleaner that has lost suction, when the real problem is a split basket.

Coarse, not ultra fine

This assembly carries the coarse filters for leaves and larger debris. The ultra fine cartridge filter assembly is a separate part for fine silt and dust.
