The Maytronics 99955951-ASSY is the wheel tube assembly used across a wide run of Dolphin robotic pool cleaners, from the Nautilus and Nautilus Plus through the M200, Triton, Edge, Endeavor, Discovery, Saturn and the Supreme M4 and M5.
What it does
The wheel tube sits in the drive train between the motor and the wheels. It is under load every minute the cleaner runs, and it wears. As it does, the drive loses its grip on the wheels and the cleaner starts slipping on the floor or failing partway up a wall.
While the cleaner is apart
The wheel bearings and the cork that fits inside the wheel tube are separate Maytronics parts. Both are easy to inspect once the tube is out, and replacing worn ones at the same time saves taking the unit down twice.
