The Maytronics 9995547-ASSY is the front active brush assembly for a wide run of Dolphin robotic cleaners, including the M600 and M700, Zenit 60 and 70, Active 60, Active X6, Active X7 and Active Ultimate, Explorer E70 and E60i.
Why an active brush matters
An active brush is driven by the cleaner rather than dragged along by it. That powered scrubbing action is what breaks film, algae and fine dirt loose from plaster, tile and vinyl so the filter can pick it up. A cleaner with a worn brush still drives its pattern and still filters, but it leaves a haze behind, which is why owners often blame the filter when the brush is the real problem.
Front, not rear
This is the front assembly. Maytronics sells the rear brush separately, so check which end of your cleaner has the worn brush before ordering. On most of these models both wear at similar rates, and doing them together is common.
