The S.R. Smith DMS-100S is a 60 inch three bend stair rail in polished stainless steel, built for deck mounted installation at a set of pool stairs or a sloped entry.

Why a three bend rail

A straight rail is fine beside a ladder, but stairs and beach entries drop away under the swimmer. The three bend shape carries the grip out and down along that slope, so there is something to hold at every step instead of only at the top.

Construction and mounting

The rail is polished stainless steel, the usual choice for hardware that lives in splash and sun. It mounts into the deck, so the deck needs suitable anchors set for it.
