Product details

The Horizon HV9X12 is a floating spa cover measuring 9 ft by 12 ft. It is a light insulated blanket that lies directly on the water.

Where it fits in

It does not take the place of the hard cover. It sits on the surface underneath it, so the two work together. The blanket handles the water line, which is where evaporation and most heat loss happen, and the hard cover keeps doing everything else.

Day to day

It is light, so lifting it on and off is a one person job. Less evaporation also means less make up water and fewer chemistry swings from constant topping off.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What size is it?
9 ft by 12 ft.
Does it replace my hard cover?
No. It floats on the water underneath and works with the hard cover, taking some of the load off it.
What does it actually do?
It sits on the surface, which cuts evaporation and slows heat loss. Less water leaving means less heat and less make up water.
Is it heavy to move?
No. It is a lightweight blanket that floats, so it lifts on and off easily.
