What does center discharge mean here?
The discharge port sits in the center of the pump body. It matters because a side discharge pump will not line up with plumbing built for a center discharge unit.
What voltage does it need?
115V. This model is not the 230V version, so check the circuit at the pack before ordering.
What is OPHP?
Open flow horsepower, a second rating for the pump at open flow. This one is 1.0 HP with .75 OPHP.
Why choose the two speed version?
Low speed covers circulation and filtration for far less power draw, and high speed is there when you need the flow. Over a season the low speed hours are what save money.
