The BWT BC50 is a cordless, battery powered pool vacuum built for quick floor cleaning without a hose or a power lead. It suits above ground pools and pools up to 25 cubic meters.
How it cleans
The suction head swivels and carries bristles along its face, so it works loose sand, gravel and settled grit as it passes rather than skating over them. Everything it lifts goes into a 0.65 litre chamber, which is large enough to finish a small pool floor without a stop to empty.
Battery and filtration
A full charge gives up to 40 minutes of work from the lithium ion pack, and BWT states suction holds steady through that run rather than fading. Two filter inserts are supplied, 125 micron and 150 micron, so you can fit the finer one when you are chasing dust and the coarser one for heavier debris. A corner brush is included as well.
Emptying it
The cover is transparent, so a glance tells you how full the chamber is. A quick water release valve drains the water off before you tip the debris out, which makes emptying the BC50 a one handed job at the pool edge.
