Product details

The Pool Blaster Volt FX-2 from WaterTech is a battery powered vacuum for pools and spas. It runs on five D cell batteries, so there is no cord to run out to the water and nothing to plumb into the filtration system.

What it is for

A cordless vacuum is the tool for the jobs that do not justify setting up the whole system: a spa, a set of steps, a corner where leaves have piled up, a swim spa after a windy night. Twist it on, work the head over the debris and twist it off.

Capacity and coverage

The FX-2 holds three times the debris of the current Aqua Broom, with twice the power and a head 30 percent larger. The vacuum is 8 inches with an 8.5 inch head width, and it covers 974 square feet per hour. Run time is up to 2.5 hours across several cleaning sessions.

What comes with it

One reusable filter bag and two disposable bags. It has no scrubbing brushes, and the head and hose attachment is not included. It carries a 2 year limited warranty.
