What it replaces
The usual options for a small body of water are a garden hose cleaner or a cheap suction wand. The hose cleaner is slow and dumps cold water into a pool that did not need any, and a wand means bent over work while the fine debris passes straight through and settles again. The Aqua Broom draws water through its own filter instead, so what it lifts stays lifted.
How it runs
Five D cell batteries power it, which means no cord, no hose and no priming. Switch it on and put it in the water. It is rated for sand and silt, and the optional micro filter bags tighten the filtration enough to hold algae.
Worth knowing
