The WaterTech P30X003LI is the replacement motor box assembly for the Pool Blaster Max and the Commercial Grade handheld pool vacuums. It comes with the control knob fitted.

Why it is sold as an assembly

On these vacuums the motor and the power section sit inside a single sealed housing that keeps water out. That housing is not meant to be opened and serviced, so when the unit stops running, stops holding a charge or runs for only a minute or two, the box is replaced as a whole rather than repaired.
