Polaris 3900 Gearbox Assembly 39-200

The Polaris 39-200 is the complete gearbox assembly for the Polaris 3900 Sport and P39 pressure cleaners. It is the genuine Zodiac Polaris part, and it ships as a full unit with every internal gear and bearing already in place.

What it does

The gearbox is the drive of the cleaner. Water pressure spins the turbine, and the gearbox turns that into wheel drive. When the gears or bearings wear, the cleaner slows down, stalls when it climbs, or grinds even with good pressure at the wall fitting and a clean in line filter. Replacing the whole assembly puts a fresh drive under the cleaner in one step, with no individual gears or bearings to press.

While it is apart

Look at the chain guard (POL-201-3220) and the wheels. If the cleaner has enough hours to need a gearbox, those are often due as well, and the 3900 Sport rebuild kit (POL-201-3900) covers the rest of the common wear parts.
