Product details

The Polaris 48-080 is the genuine in-line filter assembly for Polaris pressure side cleaners, used on the 180, 280, 380, 480 Pro and 3900 Sport.

Why the clear housing matters

The in-line filter sits in the feed hose and catches grit before it reaches the cleaner. On this newer style the housing is clear, so a glance tells you whether the screen is loaded. That is the difference between cleaning it when it needs it and cleaning it when you happen to remember.

It is also a swivel

The assembly acts as a hose swivel as well as a filter. On an older style hose you can pull the first swivel and put this in its place, which adds the filter without adding another joint.

The screen

Inside is a large stainless steel screen. It rinses out and goes back in, and the screen itself is available separately if it is ever damaged.
