Product details

This is the genuine Polaris sand and silt filter bag for the 380 and 360 pressure side cleaners, part number 9-100-1015. Its finer weave is made for pools that collect sand, silt and other small particles, the kind of debris a standard bag can let pass straight back into the water.

When to use it

Choose this bag for pools near beaches, in dusty climates, after a storm or any time the floor shows a fine layer rather than leaves. For heavy leaf loads the all purpose zipper bag holds more, so many owners keep one of each and swap by season.

Fit and care

It fits both the Polaris 380 and the Polaris 360 and attaches the same way as the original bag. Empty it after each cycle when the debris is fine, since a bag packed with sand restricts flow and slows the cleaner. Rinse it out and let it dry between uses to extend its life.

Will this fit my Polaris 280?
No. This bag is for the Polaris 380 and 360. The 280 uses its own bag.
How is this different from the all purpose bag?
The sand and silt bag has a finer weave, so it holds fine sand, silt and small particles that pass through the standard all purpose bag. The all purpose bag has more room for leaves and larger debris.
How often should I empty it?
Check it after every cycle in sandy conditions. A bag packed with fine material restricts flow and slows the cleaner down, so empty it before it gets heavy.
