Product details

This is the genuine Polaris case kit for the in-line back-up valve on the Polaris 360 cleaner, part 9-100-1202. It supplies the outer case of the valve along with instructions.

What is and is not in the kit

The case only. The gears that sit inside the valve are not included, so this is the part to order when the housing has cracked, split or is leaking while the mechanism itself still works. If the valve has stopped backing the cleaner up altogether, the complete back-up valve is the better buy.

Fitting

The valve sits in line in the feed hose. The hose that attaches to this case is roughly 1-1/2 inch in diameter and corrugated, and instructions come with the kit.

Why the back-up valve matters

The back-up valve is what periodically reverses the 360 so it does not sit wedged in a corner or wound around a step. When it stops working, the cleaner keeps running but stops covering the pool.
