Product details

Polaris 9-100-1103 is the turbine wheel with bearing for the Polaris 360 and 380 automatic pool cleaners. It is the genuine OEM part, molded in plastic like the original.

What the turbine does

A pressure side Polaris has no motor. Water sent to the cleaner spins the turbine, and the turbine drives everything else: the wheels, the belts and the sweep. That makes the turbine wheel the single component the whole cleaner depends on for motion.

The symptoms

A cleaner with plenty of water at the hose that still moves slowly, wanders off its pattern or stalls in a corner is usually telling you the turbine wheel or its bearing has worn. Because the bearing comes with the wheel here, replacing this one part addresses both.

While you are in there

The belts, the tires and the filter bag all wear against the same run hours as the turbine. If the cleaner is open on the deck anyway, it is worth looking at those before it goes back in the water.
