Product details

The Polaris 9-100-3112 is the black hose nut for the Polaris 360 pool cleaner. It is a new, genuine OEM Polaris part.

What it does

The feed hose on a 360 runs from the wall fitting to the cleaner in sections, and each joint is held by one of these nuts. The nut has to hold pressure, because a pressure side cleaner only works if the water reaching it arrives with enough force to drive the wheels and the sweep.

When to replace it

Nuts crack at the threads or strip after enough seasons of being taken apart and put back together, and once one weeps the cleaner slows down and the sweep loses reach. Replacing the nut is far cheaper than replacing a hose section, so check the nuts first when a 360 loses power at the head.
