Product details

Polaris 9-100-7009 is the genuine OEM jet retainer clip for the Polaris 380 and 360 pool cleaners. It is the small part that holds the water management system in place on the vacuum tube.

Two per cleaner

There is one clip on each side of the vacuum tube. They are sold and packaged individually, so order two if you are doing both sides. Most people do, because if one has broken the other has been through the same number of removals.

Why they break

The water management system has to come off periodically to be cleaned out, and the clips are what has to give for that to happen. Breaking one on removal is routine rather than a sign of a fault. What is not routine is running the cleaner without them: the water management system can then shift on the tube instead of staying locked where it belongs.
