The Polaris 9-100-1010 is the belt divider that sits on the transfer pulley of the Polaris 380 and 360 pool cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part.
What it does
The 380 and 360 drive their wheels through a set of belts running over a transfer pulley. The divider is the piece that keeps those belts in separate tracks. Without it, or with a worn one, a belt can walk sideways and ride up onto its neighbor, and from there the cleaner drives unevenly, stalls in corners or stops covering the pool.
When to fit one
Any time the drive train is apart. A cleaner in for new belts, a transfer pulley or wheel bearings should get the divider looked at in the same session, because it wears against the belts and there is no sense in putting new belts against a worn divider.
